Mangos, Cantaloupe, Pineapple, Strawberries - and Snow, Oh My!

I do believe in the value of “buying local.”  There are so many reasons to do so.

The grapefruit picked just minutes before I ate it last week (while on vacation in California) tasted better than any grapefruit I have ever had.  Purchasing something locally grown when it is available is preferable to buying produce shipped from miles away.

       However --
 - - do you ever stop to considered
 how special it is

to be able to purchase fresh fruit

of any kind

in any season?

Sometimes we forget to be amazed.

Mango - Strawberries - Grapes - Cantaloupe - Lemons - Oranges - Tangerines - Pineapple
I was able to purchase all of this fruit at my local grocery store this week,
despite the fact that there is still snow on the ground where I live.

Can you think of something you take for granted?  Take a moment to feel amazed.
