Saturday Spotlight #16: The Weekend

Saturday Spotlight logo
Today, my Saturday spotlight is shining on
this weekend.

For the first time in over a year of writing this blog,
yesterday I experienced a bad bout of writer's block!

I spent a couple of hours trying to come up with a
decent idea for this post, and none seemed just right
for today. Lack of sleep and poor planning definitely played a role, so I decided to just provide you with some happy weekend wishes today.

A picture is worth a thousand words anyway, right?

I hope that your weekend is wonderful ...

... whether you are working or playing,

cat, computer

... participating or spectating.

track

... traveling or staying home,

airlines, schedule change

... rain or shine!

rain, windshield

Whatever your plans, Happy Weekend!

Are you doing what you want to be doing this weekend?
If not, why not?

This post may be linked to one of the great link-up parties I follow and list on my blog. Check them out!

    1. Our weather deteriorated to snow on Sat night Rena - and we had an inch or two by morning. It snowed most of the day on Sunday, but was warm enough that it all melted off very quickly. Back to sunshine and a nice day today.

  5. I had a wonderful weekend, thank you! Was adult sat on Saturday by my 13 month old nephew. He's a kindred spirit! Made me laugh so hard with his clever, funny ways. Yesterday was a wonderful bridal shower for his uncle's fiance. Still with me? They served the best cake. When you're next up here, Susan, we must go to the cafe that makes this cake. Heavenly. Am crossing my fingers for you that you get NO more snow.
