Ideas for the Holidays: My List of Fabulous Finds (Week #24)

The holiday season is upon us. Here are a few links to articles previously published on this blog, which might make your life even merrier and brighter. I really hope they do!

Sugared Cranberries

~ ~ Decorate

I have an easy trick for hanging Christmas lights. In case you missed it before, here is the link again.

~ ~ Feed the Birds

Show the birds a little holiday kindness and add some holiday decor outside.

~ ~ Create

Homemade photo ornaments can be nice to give away or just to keep. Check out my easy directions for how to make them here.
Do your holiday traditions include any Nutcrackers? Ours certainly do.

~ ~ Drink

This coffee drink can be made right in your kitchen without special equipment.

~ ~ Snack

I provided a recipe for Sugared Cranberries in a guest post I wrote for the blog 2JustBYou. You can view it here:

~ ~ Bake

My favorite sugar cookie and icing recipe can be made any time of year - but it is perfect for holiday cookies.

~ ~ Cook

This roasted vegetable recipe adds festive color to any meal.

~ ~ Give!

Don't forget about your pets at Christmas. Our cat and dog have learned to expect both something in their stocking, and a gift under the tree!

If you need a good idea for your dog, PetSafe Busy Buddy Chuckle Dog Toy might be just the thing! I wrote about it in these two posts:

~ ~ "Let There Be Peace on Earth, and Let it Begin With Me"

I haven't published this link before, but it seems fitting to include here. In this video, Microsoft employees share a message of peace with their neighboring Apple  store.  Let's follow their example, and all do what we can to strive for peace and harmony worldwide.

What is your favorite holiday tradition?

    1. I made these sugar cookies with my son and his friend last week, Lana. We had fun, and I had to put some in the freezer for my daughter before they all disappeared!

  5. I have to agree with Lana! Going to try those cookies this week. Tomorrow is my last day of posting for the year. I'm taking a much needed break to get ready for 2016 and the huge changes I've been making behind the scenes! Have a great weekend.
