I hope a wonderful weekend is on the horizon for you!
I was told that smoke from wildfires about 1000 miles away was the cause of a visible haze in our sky last week. Whatever the reason, some beautiful sunsets were the result.
I hope you enjoy some of the photos I took.
Sky or the Sea?
It's almost had to tell - the clouds looked like crashing waves to me!
Best wishes for a safe and happy weekend from the most - - of every moment.
It would have been hard to not get a good photo - the sky was absolutely gorgeous! Your food pics are always good Karen - I love the fish platter in the one I saw today!
They terrify me also! We try to keep the grasses mowed and a green strip around our house mowed, but a fire here would move really quickly :( I hope your weekend was fabulous too!
You are correct Delores - and I am now worried that the wording of my post sounded insensitive! I certainly would prefer dull skies to anyone suffering the results of a fire anywhere!
What gorgeous pictures. I think I need you to take my food pics for me.

DeleteBeautiful! The sky looks like it's not fire - and I definitely see waves.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping this is the only kind of fires we see in MT this summer!
DeleteTruly beautiful - though bushfires terrify me. They move so fast...
ReplyDeleteOur weekend is winding down, but I hope yours is fabulous.

ReplyDeleteI guess it depends on where you are whether that view is beautiful or not.
