It was the same story - used for a while and then I think we sold it on to someone else. My sister had two golliwogs and my brother a teddy bear, but they wouldn't share. My own doll was a "walking-talking" doll made of hard celluloid I think it was. Definitely not made for cuddling. I often used to stare at it from my bedroom window and wish I had one...even when I was too big for such frivolities. Years later when I returned to my the town of my childhood when visiting those neighbours who, over the years had remained friends...they still had the majestic rocking horse. One of the sons of one of the daughters of the family had restored it to even better glory than in its glory days. :)Leehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15835982875620956300noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4408200542344140440.post-79436443736480635612015-11-03T18:28:05.958-07:002015-11-03T18:28:05.958-07:00Hi Susan. Stopping by to say hi and send you blog love. :) I've never been able to get a regular blog review into my schedule so I applaud you as I've always been impressed how you can stay on top of it all! I can't remember any toy jealousy probably because I was mostly surrounded by boys. I used to trick my little brother by baking mud pies and telling him they were chocolate! I toyed with the idea of a cow patty but figured I would get into to much trouble. The mud pie was worth the trouble though haha! Can't wait to hear your take on Maddie and Delaney! So many kids had them and they looked like so much fun. There is something magical about being able to drive when you are little. Now I probably won't get my little guy one either.
